Dignified Bio Cleaning

Effective Date: April 21, 2026   |   Last Updated: April 21, 2026

Crime Scene Steri-Clean, LLC (doing business as “Dignified Bio Cleaning,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the rights you have with respect to that information when you visit https://dignifiedcleaning.com (the “Site”) or otherwise interact with our services.

By using the Site or contacting us through it, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with our practices, please do not use the Site or submit personal information to us.

1. Who We Are

Crime Scene Steri-Clean, LLC is a California-licensed biohazard, crime scene, trauma, and bio-cleaning service provider operating under the trade name Dignified Bio Cleaning. For purposes of applicable privacy laws, we are the “business” and/or “data controller” of the personal information described in this Policy.

2. Scope of This Policy

This Policy applies to personal information we collect through the Site, through our contact and quote-request forms, through email or telephone communications that originate from the Site, and through online advertising and analytics tools we use to operate the Site.

This Policy does not apply to information collected offline or through channels unrelated to the Site (for example, information you provide in person to our technicians during service), to any third-party websites we do not control, or to information governed by separate agreements (such as service contracts or HIPAA-governed arrangements with healthcare facilities).

3. Information We Collect

We collect personal information from you and, in limited cases, automatically from your device when you visit the Site. The categories of personal information we collect include:

A. Information You Provide Directly

When you submit a contact form, request a quote, or otherwise reach out to us through the Site, we may collect:

  • Identifiers such as your first and last name, email address, and telephone number.
  • Location information such as the city, state, or service address where you need cleaning services.
  • Details about your inquiry, including the type of incident or cleanup needed, the approximate date of the incident, your relationship to the affected property or person, and any other information you choose to include in your message.
  • Communications data, including the content of emails, text messages, or voicemails you send to us that originate from or reference the Site.

Because of the nature of our services (biohazard, trauma, and unattended-death cleanup), the free-text portion of your message may include sensitive or emotionally difficult information. We handle this information with discretion and confidentiality, and we only use it to respond to your request and provide services.

B. Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Site, certain information is collected automatically by cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies. This includes:

  • Device and connection information, such as IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, and approximate geographic location derived from IP address.
  • Usage information, such as the pages you view, the links you click, the date and time of your visit, the amount of time spent on pages, the referring URL, and the search terms that led you to the Site.
  • Advertising and conversion information, such as whether you arrived at the Site by clicking a Google Ads ad and whether you subsequently completed a form submission or phone call that our ad-tracking tools classify as a conversion.

C. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not sell goods through the Site, and we do not collect payment card information, bank account information, Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, precise GPS location, or biometric identifiers through the Site. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16.

4. Cookies, Analytics, and Online Advertising

We use the following third-party tools on the Site. These tools place cookies or similar technologies on your device and may collect information as described above.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics (provided by Google LLC) to understand how visitors find and use the Site. Google Analytics collects information such as IP address, device and browser data, pages visited, and time spent on the Site. Google may use this data to provide us with aggregate reports on Site performance. For more information, see Google’s privacy practices at https://policies.google.com/privacy. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Google Ads Conversion Tracking

We use Google Ads conversion tracking to measure the effectiveness of our advertising. When you click one of our ads and then take an action on the Site (such as submitting a contact form or calling us from a tracked number), Google may record that action as a “conversion” and share aggregated reports with us. This helps us understand which ads are working and allocate our advertising budget responsibly. You can learn more about Google’s advertising practices, and manage your ad personalization settings, at https://adssettings.google.com.

Cookies and Your Choices

Most web browsers allow you to view, manage, delete, and block cookies. You can usually find these controls in your browser’s settings or preferences menu. Please note that if you block or delete cookies, some parts of the Site may not function as intended.

Our Site honors the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If your browser or extension is configured to send a GPC signal, we treat it as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes, to the extent such activities occur.

5. How We Use Your Information

We use the personal information described above for the following business purposes:

  • To respond to your inquiries, provide requested quotes, schedule services, and otherwise communicate with you about our biohazard and bio-cleaning services.
  • To contact you by telephone call, text (SMS) message, and/or email using the contact information you provide, including to return your request, answer questions, schedule or confirm services, send appointment reminders, and follow up if we are unable to reach you on the first attempt.
  • To perform the services you request and to coordinate with third parties (such as property managers, insurance adjusters, or law enforcement) where you have asked us to do so.
  • To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site, including troubleshooting errors and preventing fraud or abuse.
  • To measure and improve the effectiveness of our marketing and advertising, including evaluating which ads and pages generate inquiries.
  • To comply with legal obligations, enforce our agreements, and defend our legal rights.
  • For any other purpose disclosed to you at the time we collect the information or for which you provide your consent.

Consent to Be Contacted

By submitting a contact form, requesting a quote, or otherwise providing your telephone number or email address to us through the Site, you expressly consent and authorize Crime Scene Steri-Clean, LLC (and its authorized service providers acting on its behalf) to contact you at the telephone number and email address you provided, including by live-agent calls, pre-recorded or artificial-voice calls, text (SMS/MMS) messages, and email, for the purposes of responding to your inquiry, providing quotes and service information, scheduling and confirming services, and following up on your request. Message and data rates may apply to text messages sent or received. Standard telephone charges may apply.

Consent to be contacted in this manner is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. You may withdraw your consent at any time by replying “STOP” to any text message, by telling us on a call that you no longer wish to be contacted, or by emailing us at the address in Section 14. Withdrawing consent will not affect the lawfulness of contact that occurred before we received your request, and we may still contact you on a one-time basis to confirm your opt-out and, where applicable, to complete a service you have already scheduled.

6. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share personal information only as described below:

  • Service providers. We share information with vendors who perform services on our behalf, such as website hosting, email delivery, customer relationship management (CRM), analytics, and advertising measurement. These providers are authorized to use your information only to provide services to us.
  • Advertising partners. We share limited information with Google and similar advertising platforms to measure ad performance and, where permitted by your settings, to deliver relevant advertising. Under California law, some of this activity may be considered “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You have the right to opt out (see Section 8).
  • Professional advisors. We may share information with our attorneys, accountants, insurers, and similar advisors as reasonably necessary to operate our business.
  • Legal and safety disclosures. We may disclose information when we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law, court order, subpoena, or governmental request, or is necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of Crime Scene Steri-Clean, LLC, our customers, or others.
  • Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, financing, sale of assets, or bankruptcy, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to standard confidentiality protections.
  • With your consent. We may share your information for any other purpose to which you consent.

7. Data Retention and Security

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, including to respond to your inquiry, provide services, maintain business records, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations. When we no longer need your personal information, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, the “CCPA”), provides you with specific rights regarding your personal information. This section describes those rights and how to exercise them.

Categories of Personal Information Collected in the Last 12 Months

  • Identifiers (name, email address, telephone number, IP address) — collected from you directly and automatically when you use the Site; shared with service providers and advertising partners.
  • Customer-records information (telephone number, address, other contact details you provide) — collected from you directly; shared with service providers.
  • Internet or other electronic network activity information (browsing history on the Site, referring URLs, interactions with our ads) — collected automatically; shared with analytics and advertising providers.
  • Geolocation data (approximate location derived from IP address, and any service-address city or ZIP code you provide) — collected from you directly and automatically; shared with service providers.
  • Inferences drawn from the above to understand the type of service a visitor is requesting and whether an ad campaign produced a lead — used internally and with our advertising measurement providers.

We do not knowingly collect “sensitive personal information” as that term is defined under the CCPA, and we do not use or disclose personal information for purposes that would require us to offer a right to limit the use of sensitive personal information.

Sale and Sharing of Personal Information

We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. However, our use of Google Ads conversion tracking and similar advertising measurement tools may constitute “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under the CCPA. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.

Your Rights

Subject to certain exceptions, California residents have the right to:

  • Right to Know. Request that we disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources from which we collected it, the purposes for collecting it, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.
  • Right to Delete. Request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions (for example, to comply with legal obligations or complete a transaction you requested).
  • Right to Correct. Request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
  • Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing. Opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, including sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising.
  • Right to Non-Discrimination. Not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising any of your CCPA rights. We will not deny services, charge different prices, or provide a different level of quality because you exercised a privacy right.

How to Exercise Your Rights

You may submit a rights request by contacting us.

We will need to verify your identity before fulfilling your request. Depending on the sensitivity of the request, verification may involve matching identifying information you provide against information we already have, or requesting additional information. Only you, or someone legally authorized to act on your behalf, may make a verifiable consumer request related to your personal information.

You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. The agent must provide written proof of your authorization, and we may require you to verify your identity directly with us and confirm that you have provided the agent with permission to submit the request.

We will acknowledge receipt of a verifiable request within 10 business days and will substantively respond within 45 calendar days, subject to permitted extensions.

“Shine the Light” Request

California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for those third parties’ direct marketing purposes. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes.

9. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal. Because there is no industry-standard interpretation of DNT signals, the Site does not respond to DNT signals. As described above, we do recognize and honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as opt-out requests under the CCPA.

10. Third-Party Websites and Services

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, including social media platforms and review sites. This Policy does not apply to those websites, and we are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of any third-party site you visit.

11. Children’s Privacy

The Site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 16. If you believe a child under 16 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

12. Visitors From Outside California

Our services are offered primarily in California and select surrounding areas in the United States. If you are visiting the Site from outside California or the United States, please be aware that your information will be processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. By using the Site, you consent to the transfer and processing of your information in the United States.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this Policy and, where appropriate, provide additional notice (such as a banner on the Site or an email notification). Your continued use of the Site after the effective date of an updated Policy constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
